Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, has invited applications dynamic, skillful and courageous Indian candidates for recruitment 2012, for the posts of Head Constable (Ministerial).

 

Candidate’s appointment is to be done on temporary basis but likely to be permanent. Selection of the candidates is to be done on the basis of Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination, Typing Speed Test, Test of Basic Knowledge in Computer Application, and Medical Examination.

 

Candidates qualified in the documentation, PST & PET will be called for the written test. The tests schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidate’s admit card. Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

• Passed Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Examination or Intermediate or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board /University Or
• Matriculation from a recognized Board with three years of Diploma in Secretarial Practice / Modern Office Practice / Commercial Practice from a recognized Board of Technical Education
• Should have minimum Typing speed 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Computer
• Good knowledge in Computer Applications

Age Limit:

• Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 25 years.
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / EXS candidates provided as per government norms

• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs 50 drawn in favor of Accounts Officer, SHQ SSB, Gorakhpur (UP), payable at SBI Gorakhpur or can obtain IPO in favor of Accounts Officer, SHQ SSB, Gorakhpur (UP).
• Application form, duly complete in all respect, along with the DD / IPO, two attested passport size photographs (affixed on application form & admit card), two self-addressed envelope (size 4 x 9 inches) with affixed stamp of Rs 25 on each, and attested copies of all relevant certificates / documents, should be submitted to Dy. Inspector General, Sector HQ, SSB Gorakhpur, Marketing Building, FCI Complex, PO - Fertilizer Factory, Urbarak Nagar, Gorakhpur (UP) - 273007, by post on or before November 15, 2012.
• Candidates belonging to far-flung areas can send their application form latest by November 22, 2012.
