ResponsibilitiesTop line: Profitability of ISSS,
SatCom and Metrology business lines. Overall Sales growth in Sales and
Defence segment. Ownership of issues, challenges, opportunities and
mitigating threats in the abovementioned business lines.Business
Strategies Establishing Sales and Marketing strategies and
operationalize actions to maximize business performance within accepted
risk boundaries. Achieving ongoing profitability for ISSS, SatCom and
Metrology business for Govt / Defence bodies and agencies. Overseeing
design, marketing, promotion and quality of programs, products and
services for the assigned business vertical. Promoting Companys vision,
mission and values and ensuring achievement of goals and objectives of
the approved strategic planFinancial Management Drawingup annual budget
forecasts for approval. Ongoing prudent management of the resources
within the budget guidelines approved for the year. Establishing
financial strategies pertaining to Profitability, Recoveries and optimal
Cost Management for the assigned business verticals.Customer
Relationship Management Develops and effectively influences customers
choice of NELCO being the preferred vendor within the Groups framework
on Code of Conduct. Seeks and builds healthy relationships with key
accounts decisionmaking teams and periodically interface them with key
NELCO stakeholders. All customer oriented processes from PreSales to
Delivery to Customer feedback is managed well internally to ensure high
Customer Satisfaction score.Project and Operations Management Ensuring
Project execution at various sites are done within committed timelines,
costeffectively, with due consideration to quality and adherence to
processes, defined compliances. Liaise with internal stakeholders for
appropriate resources, processes and compliance requirements. Ensuring
risk mitigation is envisaged and covered. Ensure TBEM / ISO practice /
standards and / or such other quality initiatives are supported and
implemented. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships
and ties with regulators / customer auditors.People Management Develop
team of meritocracy and culturally aligned to Tata values and ethical
standards. Develop healthy working relationships with peers, reporting
Managers, crosscompany teams. Develop reporting Managers to handle
higher role or leadership responsibilities within the organization or
for crossorganization responsibilities.Capabilities and competencies
Able to bridge internal organizational challenges for new business
opportunities. Ability to network with Govt. / Defence representatives
to seek potential business opportunities. Good understanding of the
warning systems industry and consistently updated of trends through
various sources. Ability to network with peers in the industry. Strong
strategic capability with ability to manage operational goals. Strong
financial / business acumen. Effective communication and interpersonal
